EASTER HOLIDAYS
School breaks up today for the Easter holidays. We hope you have a safe and restful break and look forward to seeing you all again on TUESDAY 23RD APRIL 2019.

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
On behalf of the Governing Body, we would like wo wish you all a very happy Easter and hope that you all have a very restful and fun two weeks holiday.
As Governors, we have had a busy term, mainly behind the scenes. We have met with the Governors of Barton and Wootton Primary, exploring ways we can effectively work together. We have also been liaising with our local councillor, regarding what we consider dangerous traffic flow through the estate during the road works on Staplers Road.
We try to make ourselves known in and around the school whenever we can, most recently attending the parents’ evenings. I am still running the football and will be taking the Easter assembly before we break up.
Our Vice Chair, Tara Allman, time in office has come to an end, we will certainly miss her hard work and enthusiasm for getting the best for Summerfields’ pupils, but we do have some new governors about to start their term after the holidays.
We are very committed to all that goes on at the school and if you would like to get in touch to find out more about what we do, please contact any of us through the school office.

Tony Murphy
Chair of Governors
