FRIENDS OF SUMMERFIELDS

A big thank you to all parents, grandparents and staff that came along to the Quiz, it was a great success and we raised £112 which will go towards equipment for the football team. There will be a mufti day on Friday 15th May followed by school discos in the evening, further details to follow shortly. A summer fayre is also planned for Saturday 27th June and stalls are available. We need as much help as possible for both the discos and summer fayre so please let us know if you’re available.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

Children have been coming to school wearing a variety of coloured socks.  Please be reminded that the summer school uniform for girls consists of summer dresses and white socks only. Winter uniform, all children must wear grey socks. Thank you for your  co-operation in this matter.

HEADLICE IN SCHOOL

We have had reports of headlice again in school.  Please ensure that you check your child’s hair on a regular basis and treat accordingly.

THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU ARE 11¾ …

Go to see a bluebell wood, the flowers grow very, very slowly so this tells us that a bluebell wood is an ancient woodland.  It’s tempting to pick bluebells, but please don’t as they are happy where they are!
