WAISTCOAT WEDNESDAY

We are very proud that so many Summerfields’ pupils and staff supported the England semi-final football match on Wednesday by wearing a waistcoat or red/white clothes. The school did look very different for a day. What a shame England didn’t make the final.

‘FRIENDS OF SUMMERFIELDS’

On the last day of term the ‘Friends’ will be selling tuck and goodies after school outside Years 5/6 classrooms.

COUNTY PRESS

Please look out in this week’s County Press for an article about Summerfields’ pupils supporting the England semi-final football match. Photos were taken of pupils wearing a waistcoat or red/white clothes. Will you spot your child?

YEAR 6 LEAVERS’ ASSEMBLY

Leavers’ assembly for Year 6 children will take place next Friday, 20th July at 1:15pm and will be by invitation only for Year 6 families.

GB ATHLETE VISIT

We raised the colossal amount of £1078 sponsor money from the visit of GB Athlete, Rion Pierre. Thank you to everyone who supported this event, we were really surprised and grateful for the overwhelming support from parents, friends and family.

EARLIER FINISH TIME ON LAST DAY OF TERM

Please remember that school will finish at 2pm next Friday, 20th July and all children must be collected promptly. Bright Sparks After School Club are unable to take Summerfields pupils from 2pm due to their normal pre-school children being in session.
