Happy New Year to everyone and we hope you have all had a good rest and are refreshed for the new term ahead! The staff of Summerfields would once again like to say a big “thank you” for all the lovely cards and presents they received. Your generosity is much appreciated.
SNACKS AT BREAKTIME
Please remember children should ONLY be bringing in fruit or cheese to eat at playtime. Therefore DO NOT send in cakes, biscuits, snack bars, etc. As we have previously advised parents, we do have children with life threatening allergies in school. We are also a “healthy” school and try to encourage children to make the right choices. Just a reminder that as we are also a “Nut Free” school, lunch boxes should not contain any items that may contain nuts, such as chocolate spread.
FAMILY LIAISON OFFICER (FLO) – Mrs Murphy
If you need to contact Mrs Murphy for advice, support or just a chat about things that may be affecting your child, your family or you, please email her on: email@example.com or phone 01983 525085 and select option 4. Please be aware that Mrs Murphy only works part time and is often out at meetings. She will try to respond to you as quickly as possible.
