YEAR 6 SATs

We would like to say a big ‘well done’ to every child in Year 6 this week.  They have all stayed focused and tried their absolute best all week and we could not have asked for any more from them.  Thank you also to parents who have ensured that every child has arrived at school well nourished, well rested and in good time, ready and prepared.  Thank you also to Mr Simpson: without him, the week wouldn’t have run so smoothly.  Well done and thank you to you all!

LOST STAR PUPIL BADGES

We have lost several of our star pupil badges.  Please can you check if your child has brought one home by mistake.  They are very expensive badges and we may need to consider charging for lost badges.

ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL FRIDAY 9TH JUNE 2017

We are still waiting for the traffic management arrangements for this year for the Isle of Wight Festival. We may close at 1:30pm on Friday 9th June as in previous years, however we cannot confirm this yet. School will be closed on THURSDAY 8TH JUNE as it is to be used as a polling station. We shall let you know more information as soon as we receive any.  Thank you for your patience.

SAINSBURYS ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS

The campaign has now finished.  Please can you look out any vouchers that you may have at home and send into school by Friday  19th May.  Thank you.

LETTING SCHOOL KNOW

Please make sure that you inform the school office if your ‘pick up’ arrangements change.  School will not  let children go home with anyone other than the authorised person unless we are notified in advance.  Thank you for your co-operation.

WATER BOTTLES

There are still several children who are forgetting to bring a water bottle to school.  Please check that your child brings one to school every day especially as the weather is warming up. Thank you.

MAY FAYRE

Please come along, bring your parents and anyone else to The ‘Friends of Summerfields’ May Fayre today from 3—6pm.  The £1 donations received on mufti day last Friday raised £164.70 which will be used to buy food for the BBQ and items for the chocolate tombola at the fayre.  Thank you.
