DEVELOPMENT DAY

Please note that Summerfields will be CLOSED to pupils on Monday 28th November 2016 as this will be a school development day.  Thank you.

WE’RE ALL EARS!

National School Meals Week is from Monday 31st October 2016 to Friday 4th November 2016.  As part of this week our school meal providers, Chartwells, would like you to complete a short survey about the school meals they provide at Summerfields.  The survey can be found online at www. loveschoolmeals.co.uk/nsmw.

LATENESS

Please remember that registers close at 8.45am.  This is the time your child needs to be in class in their seat!  Even if their surname begins with a “W” you are still expected in class, there is no “extra” time as the teachers work down the register.  Once the register has been started at 8.45am, if you are not sat down in class by this time, you will have a “late” mark.

HARVEST ASSEMBLY

Thank you to all the parents who sent in contributions to our Harvest assembly; these have now been donated to the Isle of Wight Foodbank.

BRIGHTENING UP SCHOOL

SUGAR SMART SURVEY

As part of the Sugar Smart Island initiative, a survey for public consultation has been developed.  The Isle of Wight Council has requested that we publicise this survey in order to get as many people as possible to complete it.  The survey can be found at www.iwight.com/consultations/.
